loved the concept of this memoir but didn’t really love the book itself. all the stuff about the intersection of disability and queerness and his relationship to his body was so interesting, wish there was more on that!! greg came across as quite annoying to me throughout and it almost felt like the memoir was more about his family and his various boyfriends than the author himself

I usually tend not to read memoirs about affluent gays as I tend to see most of them as out of touch and totally unrelatable. This is good so far as it makes me think of what life could become when you have the right support systems, almost like a handbook. For a lack of better ways to put it, I think his disability kind of evens out the playing field and makes him not seem so out of touch
