Really have to laugh at the fact that this is a Disney book and the author makes a few jokes about the little mermaid. Also really love that the princess main character is learning the nuts and bolts on how to rule and that it’s showing that leadership is something that girls can have interest in and can learn, and that being a princess is not justballs and fancy gowns

The nonlethal conch shell weapon Finnian stole from the Warm Seas armory. He must have blown it in the Warm Seas loosening the plates maybe and he blew it in Clarion to show it off to Lana. He didn't really understand what it was for.
Could that have caused the earthquake? It takes time for it to build up?
