Status Updates From Finding Dorothy

I am an hour into the audio book and I can not go on. Maybe the rest of the book improves in style but so far this is another historical fiction book where all of the female characters read like 21st century liberal women who were dropped into the 1880's. And I just cannot bare to read/listen to another book like that.
