“The illness makes her stupid” (talking about the FMC from the last book) from what I’ve read she just has a really hard time remembering things and is in a constant brain fog. I’m not going to lie, this line has me on edge. There are so many conditions that can cause people to have brain fog, it twists my stomach for that to be referenced as stupidity though. Just say she has a hard time remembering things.
