Huang Jialing was about to head into the main building when she saw a demonic cat opening one of the gates.
The cat paused, blinked innocently, and slowly closed the gate.
With a deadpan face, Huang Jialing strode forward and undid the clearly useless magical array on the gate that was supposed to keep the beasts in.

Pretend nothing happened, kitty!

“I am a blood cultivator.”
He let the blade fly. It easily sliced through the nearest tree.
Now, he saw Wen Zhihao frown. As expected, all righteous cultivators hated demonic cultivators—
“I hope you eat enough iron-rich foods to compensate for your blood loss and vitamin-C-rich foods to help absorb that iron,” Wen Zhihao said, nudging the food box closer to the other.

Low iron levels are no joke.

I really liked the first third of this story but the plot is nearly nonexistent. There’s a lot of sleep, food, and petting cats/beast and also the occasional hiccup to overcome. That’s it. Guess, this is not going to change in the last third and I’m not sure how to feel about that. 🤔

This is mostly soft and funny and I love it. Wen Zhihao is such a darling character.
