Already, so much better than Escaping From Houdini. Hands down.
Thomas always makes me laugh, especially now since we can see in his head. Love the random equations that he thinks of. He’s a gentleman and a bit of a scoundrel!🤭
But his devotion is beautiful. Though, I think he’s playing down what Audrey Rose did. She still went behind his back and emotionally cheated on him a bit.

Gonna start this tonight!!
Hopefully it’s better than the dumpster fire that was the third book.

Also, hopefully Audrey Rose confesses and tells the truth about the absolute bullsh!ttery she did in the last book to him.

[Chapter Nine] I can’t describe my euphoric, delightful feeling with word (I presume..). This book gonna have a special shelf in my heart, for that I’m sure.

[Chapter Seven] THIS MAN READ ROMANCE IM SQUEALING.

She was consumed by some scientific journal on engineering, and I was thoroughly enjoying the first in a new romance by one of my favorite authors.

[Chapter Five] HE SKETCHED HER CANE HIMSELF. also adding hidden blade by pushing the dragon (Henri) ruby eyes through.

[Chapter Five] oh they truly are quite dull when it comes to “love”. He classified Audrey Rose dread mood in cause of his cold demeanor as “dark mood”.

[Chapter Before] after Wadsworth drunk at the so-called-club, they bumped into him who turned out to be seeking for air to release stressed by the thought of her with Mephistopheles.

She likely wouldn’t remember it in the morning, but I hoped she’d think it was a wonderful dream. A memory I might one day paint so I could look back on it long into the future and be filled with the same sense of warmth and peace.
