📚 53% into The Reluctant King and FINALLY, the streets are streeting! 👀🔥 Giving Power/Raising Kanan vibes. K’wan, NOW you have my attention! 🙌🏽

I’m already giving this audiobook the side-eye. 👀 The story might be fine, but this narrator has everybody sounding like they’re delivering a sermon from the pulpit. Sir, this is street lit, not Sunday service! 😭🙏🏽 I need some RANGE, some flavor, SOMETHING! I’m holding my judgment for now, but Lord, please let the plot preach louder than the narrator. 🤞🏽😂

If I had read this one first I don't think I would have read the sequel. The book was good but not as much action as book 2. I hope book 3 be good.
