This was a long chapter, probably as long as another earlier one, but I think it is sufficient to just read the last two chapters tomorrow.

Today's two chapters were read. The reading also brought calm during a stressful day and provided an escape for the mind getting bogged down with the dangers of answering our phones when we hope the call might be for a desirable and solicitous source.

I didn't like these two chapters much, I felt the writer was taking his liberties too far, something he has gradually been doing, being more and more daring in his mockery of these women that are his characters, but we still found ourselves laughing so I don't know what that says about us. I'm trying not to be insufferable and make a big deal of everything but they are too used to feeling at liberty about us bana

I started reading this yesterday, reading it out loud to my aging sister who is recovering from a spell with her diabetes going haywire on her and on us by extension. We have both enjoyed what I have read so far. It's a library book so one chapter a day might get us to the due date if it has thirteen chapters or less but if there are more, we may have to up the quota or risk needing to renew one book, embarrassing!
