Okay, so I had THOUGHT that and then abandoned the thought because of how the story really prioritized the other interpretation. Which is so freaking cool. But it simply couldn’t have worked out any other way. Of course this was how it was. Insane.

Daniel and the werewolves (what an excellent band name btw) are here because they love Morgana. North is here because she loves Sarah. THERE’S JUST SO MUCH LOVE AND I LOVE IT.

I’m so glad the little bat creature came back. I knew it would, but still. I love how tightly plotted these books are.

The werewolves really are a delight.

I’ve heard of Tam Lin but don’t know anything about it so now I’m mad at myself.

Pet used to say “it is enough” about Zero acting decent towards humans and now JinYeong’s the one saying it about her. I like that.

Have I mentioned Pet is so awesome and incredible? Because Pet is SO awesome and incredible.

It is so refreshing to see GOOD parents every once in a while in fiction 😭 this is so heartbreaking but somehow wonderful to see.

She isn’t trusting she had enough “”influence”” on him she’s trusting that he’s the person that he ALREADY is inside. I really like the theme of only changing because you WANT to change.

I’m gonna say it. She reminds me of Neeve from TRC. Or any of the psychics, really. What a compelling description.

Pet learning Korean just to annoy JinYeong but now she that she did she has the ability to talk to only him is such a thing. She will never not be famous to me for that. Icon.

I do love me a character who is always doing the impossible. One of my favorite character types, probably. I will appreciate this all the more when I reread this series at some point in time.

The series of impossible tasks against insurmountable odds feels so greek melodrama to me. I noticed that in the last book but didn’t mention it. Such a thing to me.
