Beginning with a description of the life of Doña María, she is illustrated as a character who obsesses over her daughter, as well as lonely. Parts of this book are hard to read so far, and it’s tough to get through these explanations.

beginning with explaining the life of the Doña María. She is a literary genius who’s life so far is outlined by her obsession with her daughter and loneliness. So far, this book is hard to read and i have to go back a couple of times to fully understand what i just read.

The intro or Part 1 was boring. It was, to sum it up, a big tap session that wasn’t needed. Yes, it was interesting about the book that the monk wrote; however i was so lost reading some of the paragraphs. Could’ve been shorter

This reminds me of how i felt reading Ford’s The Good Soldier and that I’m not meant to like every piece classic literature
