Boogers. Ventar is utilizing boogers in a battle. He is ruddy resourceful, but I am laughing so hard right now...

Loving the battle description, it's blatantly bloody but focuses more on the mental aspect rather than the gore.
Waaiiiit I'm almost done??? Nooooo...

Ugh I wish I had longer periods of time to read in, stuff is going down and I want to devour the remainder of the book. XP
I'm really feeling for Ventar, he needs a nap.

The pacing is different (fast, choppy in the way of crime cinematic, yet in depth at the same time), but it works. It's kind of freaking me out how much this style works because it almost seems like it shouldn't. XD
These poor, poor characters are utterly devoid of plot armor.
