Status Updates From Fled for Refuge (Refuge, #1)

Loved the Kentucky Midnight series but struuggling to get through this one for some reason. I think maybe it's just the bad experiences with church and naturopathic medicine that's making is hard not to be turned off by this book even though I don't actually disagree with anything in is so far and nor would I care in fiction. XD It's just bringing things up sooo often I'm like can I be doooone with this topic... XD

I started this boom earlier, but being a heavier read put it off. I don’t really read “dystopian” themed books—I always imagine things like zombies and anti-biblical themes. Clearly I didn’t know what it meant (though I think that both of my preconceived notions happen often in this genre). This Christian Fic. One is excellent so far.

ugh!! Once again, I fell asleep before I could update. Right in the middle of the climatic drama too! Hope to finish this sometime in the next few days.

I want to trust Drew but there's something unsettling. I feel this will not end on a happy note.
