POV: your dad is schizophrenic he doesn’t want you to go and do great things because some apparition told him he’s one of God‘s chosen people so he forces you to marry an idiot because he says he seems enough like your father while having no aspirations of his own. every time you get done with a date with that guy, your father comes in talking about the conversation w/ black monk about how cool he is.

“… in our line of Work females are the scourge of God…” (he is talking about taking care of a flower garden) almost forgot this was a classic and was almost shocked at the blatant sexism ,mind you from the character that’s literally losing his fucking grip on reality but at least it’s realistic.
