“The past is never dead. It’s not even past.”

This is where my childlessness hurts… when I think of what she passed to me that I have nowhere to put.

But then I think that it is vanity to need to leave a mark on things.

…back when I was a kid it never occurred to me… that I’d ever be anything but promise and forward momentum.

[Mourning is] recursive, and I’m old enough now to suspect that no one ever really gets over anything.

It’s a way of asserting my humanness to know big words, to understand what is happening to me.

It’s good, i think, that’s why i make it this far to write a review for it. But im trying to pinpoint exactly what’s good abt it. a) im curious i guess. The author has a mysterious disease where she bleeds a lot (like soaking wet maxi pads and tampons and blood dripping to her shoes) all the time. As a fellow bleeder (not to this extent tho), im intrigued and i wanted to know what’s wrong
