nothing defintie about the characters or the plot or the world - it's literally just the pacing that isn't working for me, don't like that it's dragging me into a slump so putting this aside for now (sad)

not my favorite kind of book to READ but this would translate so well on screen

the writing in this random ya fantasy regency book is SO GOOD - the research comes through and the cadence of it is fun to read

maybe it's because I was so disappointed by Julia Quinn, this stands out even more

the characters are fun but it's getting a little too technical for my liking
