The found family troupe is done so well in this series, I can literally feel the connection between the characters. And I refuse to believe that a certain character is gone forever, I refuse!
The trilogy ended on a very nice spot, but now I hate myself for starting it before it's finished. Because wdym there are 6 books yet to be written 😫
I miss them already 😢

The Addam problem is solved in my mind now I suppose (still a bit miffed about the talla revelation), but overall I can now tell that Addam means just as much to Rune as Brand does, and it helps that Brand loves Addam now too. It was really evident in this book, because they included Addam in everything and the book ended with 3 of them together instead of just Rune and Brand like in the previous books.

This book ended me. Every problem I had with the last one was rectified in this one. I was hooked from page 1, the pacing was just right. The beginning built up a new plot while gave us time to bond with the characters, the middle was dealing with a new threat and ending was a crazy battle, with an enormous loss (I'm tearing up just writing this). Every character got to shine in this and I applaud the writer for that
