Status Updates From Year's Best Aotearoa New Ze...

I've skipped a lot of this, sometimes because I've read it before, but mostly because it was crap. Stories I've enjoyed so far: "Kōhuia", about resurrecting a dead bird, and "The secrets she eats", a kind of weird-west faeries story (ones I've enjoyed previously: "The waterfall" and "The Double-Cab Club"). But the good ones are merely competent, and rest is pretty meh.
