I’m not as hooked as I was in the last two books, maybe because it has mostly been politics with nothing exciting happening.

At the moment, Brianna is really annoying me. She's making snap decisions, letting emotions rule her (um, Brianna, love, those negative emotions are a surefire way to be tempted to use the old magic and I see that coming miles and miles away), and not wanting to listen to anyone. She just *knows* she's right. Sigh.
...I'm not sure I want to continue.
And Jian: you don't have to give in to everything she pushes for.
