Good God this book is amazing so far. The world building, the mysteries of why the world went to shit and how the MC is trying to find out what his previous reincarnation did to play apart of that. Ancient heros gone mad from war terrorize the city at its outskirts. And just the overall bleak nature of the story. Everything is pretty damn top notch so far. Seriously gives me storm light archive vibes.

The books cover makes it seem like a popcorn book but the story so far is pretty damn dense and engaging. MC gets reborn into essentially the last bastion in hell. Where the leaders decide whether you are a righteous soul, or punish you for supposed crimes from a life you don't remember.

World building so far has been great. Honestly excited to dive into the story.
