So far, the language that this author has used has been very insulting infuriating and depressing to so many groups of people and survivors. The lack of understanding when it comes to sexual assault in gay communities is appalling, especially when you’re writing about this community. As is the racist tropes that is just littered throughout this series.

I’m frustrated as usual with this book with this series with Jake. I just confused as to why suddenly with the readers and Adrian we are expected to forgive Jake or to have some kind of understanding towards his past actions when he hasn’t shown any remorse of vulnerability he hasn’t verbalize or expressed remorse or even opened up about what he wants. I’m frustrated.
