I read one decent book and then I'm back to some bullshit.
This book has a Spotify playlist, which is a red flag, because every book I've read that has a playlist has been terrible.
Also the FMC says she's a "hot mess express" which makes me want to stop reading. I struggle with urban fantasy and using modern slang does not help.
