Literally have been 15 pages from the end of this book for months and I am so upset at it because I rarely have trouble finishing sapphic vampire novels. I was really into the first part where the vampire’s origin story is introduced, but the moment the she goes into hiding underground feels like you are buried with her because nothing happens for 110 pages. i’ll finish because i am STUBBORN but damn

I’m really moving mad recently book-wise, but this is staying on my South America journey and set in Argentina, which is where I’m focused on this past week!! I really wanted something that would work history into a more interesting fiction storyline so loving so far - female sexuality in vampire novels will always be more interesting than male to me idc
