Status Updates From Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear Vol. 5

Gonna try to work on finishing this book this week. Since it is a light novel

finished volume 5. the last few chapters of this volume were sort of a mixed bag. some were pretty good with some nice moments in the beach town while a few felt like they were longer then needed with how padded a few chapters felt. the side stories were mostly good as well with a continuation of a mini arc but also decided to bring back a pointless recap chapter. curious to see where next volume goes.

okay volume is starting to pick up now i don't have much left. the pacing is starting to get better with more happening each chapter and chapters starting to form a loose mini arc again. there was also mention of a plot point that i am guessing will be a focus in the next volume. curious to read more to see howthey end off this volume.

making more progress slowly. think not having a story arc or main focus has sort of caused the previous volumes fast pacing to slow down. this is not necessarily a bad thing but after previous 2 volumes having a major focus or arc it is noticeably slower in pace. curious to read more to see if the pace picks up later on in the volume.

started volume 5 this one seems to have returned to the shorter chapters focused around random events the earlier volumes had with this one having a loose story but most of events lasting only a chapter. curious how some elements from the previous volume will get resolved and where rest of volume goes.
