This chapter on opening the heart I need to reread with my eyeballs 😭 she talks about queer and gender non conforming children and it's nothing 'new', but it's just beautifully written.

I love this book so much and Rachel Pollack is an amazing storyteller, with clarity and kindness and creativity. I feel like she is the perfect intro to tarot for me :D

Total coincidence, but as Pollack is talking about a reading with the 2 of birds card, I open my window and see two magpies (two for joy!!), which feels nice a.f.

This chapter on how and why tarot readings work is so good! Pollack discusses theories ranging from quantum entanglement to Taoism 😅
