The entire set-up is just so off, with the uncle leaving his so-called family and life’s work to never return. Doesn’t seem like it meant much to him if you ask me. Then dumping it all in Atlas’ lap. I have a hard time letting this go, it’s just so unrealistic and stupid.

So I’ve had to suspend my disbelief quite a bit this far. The uncle just dumping a rundown hotel in his nephew’s lap, guilting him into giving up his job and home in another city for it? And the nephew actually doing it? Now a random anonymous person paid off the back taxes. Like, in what world does that even happen?

So ridiculously unbelievable. 🙄🙄

The writing style in this leaves a lot to be desired in my opinion.
