Status Updates From ヒストリエ 1 [Historie, Vol. 1]

My first finished manga read in a longtime. I quite enjoy this one but the last volume does not rock as hard as many people claimed it to be.

Chapter 98. Poor Eumenes, the guy can't catch a break. Now Eurydice is gone...
I wonder if the scarred man was Alexander's alter-ego. I'm also curious as to what the seat of senses business is and will lead to.
Can't wait for the next chapter to come out. Finally caught up.

Chapter 94. Wonder what Phillip meant when wishing Alexander had died.

Chapter 88. Did not expect that Charon reveal! I'd rather forgotten about him. Not only that, but a slight suspicion I had at the start of the manga, with the secret he had concerning actually being in the party in Scythia, that Eumenes was his son. Perhaps Antipater is not so bad, after all. I'm starting to like Phocios, but Demostenes seems like a good person too. It was very brave of him to brave the battlefield.

Chapter 81. A great plan by "Attalus", which worked brilliantly. Glad to hear his relationship with Eurydice is confirmed. I had only guessed at a relationship before. I did not expect to see it so soon after Attalus revealed it however.
I don't trust Antipas, and neither does Eumenes. I think he's definitely going to try and serve his own interests, not Philippos'. I do wonder where Alexander has got to though.

Chapter 76. Looking bad for the Macedonians so far. Intrigued by the Persian Greek and his wife and how they're getting back into the story, reconnecting. We haven't seen them in a long while.
I wonder what's coming up which will divert them from Pella. While it's a pity the naval battle was such a disaster, the Athenian general seems to be a good character, both in terms of... well, character, and being a character.

Chapter 70. I wonder how much of a challenge this General Chares will pose.

Chapter 56. I like the school arc so far. I've got a feeling someone will fall off the waterfalls though.

Chapter 53. Getting interesting, the horseriding teacher seems shady. Maybe a member or partisan of Antipater's faction.

That's four pretty girls he's left/refused the advances of. Come on, Eumenes.
I like how Alexander felt bad about upsetting his step-brother. He really didn't mean to.
I wonder what the last thing Charon wanted to say to Eumenes was. Perhaps we'll never know.
I guessed the Philippos reveal just before it happened. It was mainly the eyepatch that had had me suspicious for a while.

Chapter 14. I fear someone is going to die.

Chapter 12. As soon as we learned Thrax was free, I realised the parallel between the story of Harpagus Eumedes had told. A few panels later...
Also, Charon and the bearded servant seem like good people. Hope they aren't dead in the present.

Chapter 5. Interesting bit with the formations. I didn't know that was how a siege worked.

Chapter 1. So far so good. I'm not well acquainted with the story of the real Aristotle, but it seems solid so far. I was recommended this after reading and greatly enjoying Vinland Saga.
