I wasn’t particularly looking forward to this book because I assumed it’d be about romance (and I’m not one for stories that center romance)… but the additional Gethen history after Winter’s King and callbacks to Left Hand were absolutely fantastic. I was always curious about Gethen in the Ekumen after WK.
