Honestly, I have never come across a book that made me feel as if it the gruesomeness and brutally were just “too much”.
But never say never.
So far, I wonder if I will ever read a Chris Carter novel again because of the brutality in the scenes of this novel.
This is not an insult to the writer. In fact, it is because of his realistic way to describe horrible scenes that I fear to read another novel of him.
