The prophecy being read is so repetitive and annoying. What’s the point of have thane (the wolf side of pax) have a voice if he doesn’t get the chance to engage in conversations with shade. I wish they focused on shades character development instead of just making her a joke for the whole entire book

Roake is worried about using allure. Seth is always joking and possibly by favourite when he gets all sweet. There’s definitely rhyme and reason to his chaos. Pax is wishy washy because she’s literally your mate. Clearly she’s not meant to be mortal and that side needs to die.

The plot is so damn slow. I just think that they are treating shade like a toy to be used and abused. They love watching her get knocked on her ass so much and not provide any relevant information. She’s apart of the prophesy but they don’t even take a second to truly include her or get her thoughts on anything

My last note for this book is that ending.

Gods, the cliffhangers, and “epilogues” in the bad guys pov is getting seriously annoying. 😒

We barely read about them at all and then this author just decides to tack them right at the end. Like smearing a shit stain on the toilet seat

Obviously, the highlight was them finally fucking figuring out the origin spring, and the fmc dying.

Everything after that was stupid too.

Like, sure that scene where she controls the glass was good, but this series has so much of that sort of thing. (The, SMALL moments that are interesting..and the rest being shit)

The OW drama was stupid and infuriating.
Made reading about the mmcs almost unbearable too.

Esp with the whole they all being soul mates with the fmc.

Cheating is cheating is cheating. So that was disgusting.
And it just diminished what little “loyalty” they had for the fmc.

I’m still barely interested in these characters and the story.

And still also very far from invested.

I’m hoping I can speed read this shit before the night is over so I can be done with this altogether. I’ll be soooo very glad to move onto another series after.
