This Cold Red Dust: A very emotional story, that might just stay with you for a while.
It Me, Ur Smol: Such an amazing story about an AI that just wants to hydrate you. Has staid with me for a long time now.
Behold The Deep Never Seen: Not my favourite but still good.
Housebot After The Uprising: Very short story about a robit trying to figure out a joke.
Bring The Bones That Sing: Sweet story.

This Cold Red Dust: eerie and depressing, but ultimately hopeful, this story is an impressive beginning for this collection.
I wanted to read something by this author for some time now and I'm feeling this might be yet another future favourite.

So far, I love it. Only issues I've has were with 2 that I didn't see any actual robot connections, though one was still a good story. And the story about bones that, I'm sorry, I just didn't get.

The Loincloth and the Broadsword - oh. Oh. I love this one. The typical D&D style setting is always hit or miss for me but this time I loved to see it. Defying expectations/contrasts between a character's external and internal selves and powerful characters doing something absolutely mundane are some of my favourite tropes. Plus queerness? You leave me happy but selfishly craving more.

The Machine is Experiencing Uncertainty - almost all reviews said this story was among their favourites. When I started and found out it was about a time loop, I wasn't sure I'd like it. Time loops are not really my thing. But surprise surprise, I ended up loving it. The friendship between an anomaly ship and a cyborg? Sign me up. I'd read a whole book about this duo's space adventures.

(I didn't comment on 2 stories before this one - they weren't bad, just not what I was looking for. )
Lonely Robot on a Rocket Ship in Space - the most thought-provoking story in this collection yet! I wanted to scoff at the idea of a person being trans but like, outside of binary (wanting to be a robot) but I changed my mind real quick because like...why not? I feel I will talk about this topic with my friend a lot

Behold the Deep Never Seen - Bit on the nose message but I'll take it. Major Subnautica vibes which I was relishing in.

Only finished the first story but I'm already so glad I found this collection! Like...it should not be as emotional as it is, I first met this person like 3 pages ago, why am I sad for you? I actually believed this first story would have a bad ending or like, bittersweet I guess and when it turned happy I seriously wanted to cry??
