hmm, I'm not loving this book. there's a lot of statements that are really reaching or generalizing, especially regarding the experiences of disabled people (not everyone feels the same way!) and about ableism. I mean, saying "diagnosis is a way to enforce social control" is WILDDD. maybe diagnosis is instead how (good) doctors figure out how to help???
