Status Updates From Witch-Cult Abbey

This really does evoke period Weird fiction extremely well (in both the best and worst qualities). I have to keep checking the year it was published lol

A book scaring me in broad daylight. What fun!

there's a weird conservatism in this that i'm not sure is the product of the uptight rich english jerkass protagonist, the pastiche/tribute to classic weird fiction, or mark samuels himself. i guess i'll find out by the end lol
