Reading the short fiction of Caitlin Marceau is like taking a masterclass on writing.

Mr. Perfect - Short and creepy, great body horror, perfect ending.

Helena - A zombie mother attempts to save her still human baby's life.

I LOVED this take on the zombie trope. The tension was excellent, I was horrified and dreading what would happen to this poor baby. And the ending was perfect.

Infected - A great take on the zombie trope that is simultaneously an exploration of marriage, love, and survival. Marceau does a great job of bringing humanity to high concept pieces.

Little Black Book - I loved the way Marceau played with reader expectations with the story's opening set up and then introduced a fun twist.
