Wow, Rupi Kaur suffered CSA as a child. That alone makes it even more important for me to treat with compassion, honestly, to encourage someone to express themselves fully and authentically. She is vulnerable because of the weight of what she’s experienced, and it reminds me of my faith and how it says we should treat those who are weak (vulnerable), sick and needy well.
