This is already hitting a bit too close to home, I wouldn't say it's 'triggering', but something close to it. It's beautifully written though, and I'm enjoying the world-building so far.

Just bought this book that I’ve seen reviewed here on my feed so often - can’t wait to get started!

More conflict is actually appearing now, but I'd still describe the pacing as "slow and ponderous." Good writing though.

The writing is high quality and "Why do people stay in an abusive relationship?" is a good angle, but this is all moving incredibly slowly.

Love this book! The story keeps you caught up and the end comes quickly. It leaves you anxious for the next book!

This is a nice book for me to read, because it’s pretty much all lore, mysteries, and character development, which are favorite things of mine in a books

Not as far along as I thought I’d be, but I’ve been really busy with classes lately. The author is really starting to find her voice. I have a hard time with abusive males in stories, probably cause of how I grew up. Abusive people overall really bother me.

I really like the fact that it`s a content warning before diving in.
