Status Updates From The Death of Jane Lawrence

I feel like it’s slowing down and getting less interesting than it was at the beginning. The weird mix of post-WWI England and the Victorian era really bothers me; I’ve read other books where the author successfully combined different time periods, but here, it just doesn’t fit.

magic was new to me, i feel the plot is good, but at some point i feel it overtook the whole book & i still have 4 hours left! not a good balance between the magic and real life in my opinion.
