this is the longest flight of my liiiiiiife ain’t no way this is under 4 hours

Ok the book is SO much better than the prologue!!

I really appreciate the acknowledge men of the shortcomings of the “testimonials” in the “Heaven” chapter. I was really thinking, surely there’s some sort of mandated reporter responsibility?? Also just curious if everyone described was consulted

Call me a hater but a 25 minute prologue is too much. I think prologues for nonfiction pieces are overrated

really good so far — very beginning was so slightly underwhelming because i just needed some more context, but as i continue on this author narrates her life incredibly engagingly, focusing on the heartbreaking moments with both an analytical and emotional view that is absolutely captivating.
