Status Updates From One of Us Knows

Having a hard time getting engaged. It's quite confusing with all the different personalities telling the story. I keep having to look back to the index to remember who is who, which is taking away from any plot that I'm supposed to be digesting. Keep picking it up, stopping to read something else, then going back.
