its giving three stars. this is the first mm book where i am disappointed. Eli has let this man use him as a one night stand for ten months and took him back each time he was slightly nice to him. And All they friends are like dont you see he likes you? bull poop he should have left the second night he realized he just wanted to have sex and dip.

Ok didn’t realize this had a major tragedy when I started it soooo it’s on hold

I cried on and off throughout this book. Grief is complicated and different for everyone. The author balanced grief and romance well without being mawkish.

The book alludes to a tragedy, but bloody hell, I’ve been crying on and off for most of this book.
