Not gonna lie...I skipped the first book altogether and I'm diving head-first into all this angst. Honestly, I'll be skipping the last book, too.

i don't think i liked this one more or less than the first. they were both solid in my opinion. more drama here so maybe this one edges the first by a bit

aerin's dad needs a wake up call so i was glad when she told him off at the end.

"cousin"? im assuming the person at the end who took her was a relative of her mom. is mack dead? can we finally get his pov? do they want to exploit aerin or take her so no one else has her? who sent him?

prob finished in 5 hours. damn. we got a little more here in terms of what could happen in book 3. but barely. i'm assuming it has to do w aerin's mom and her pack. maybe her mom was running from her pack and that's who always tried to kidnap them.
i hated faith, and whatever one of the pack mates who stopped speaking to aerin.
mack's dad needs to die bc that man is awful.

🤣 This book is funnier than the first book. First chapter was pure angst. Now more worldbuilding with omegas and packs. Very intriguing.

This is a challenge to read. The h’s dialogue is like a 14year old. Pages of inner monologue that I skip due to the repetitive nature.
