I am really enjoying the evolution of the characters' relationships. There is one connection that is supposedly made by one of the characters about the killer that I don't understand how they made that connection. It feels like the author knows how, because she knows the back stories and histories of all the characters. However, I don't, so to me it's like there's a missing piece. But, I think I know who's the killer

Okay, so, apparently on the library app I used to check out this book the format makes it 752 pages. I am only on page 300. I am loving the pacing of this book and the story is riveting. There are a few things that I wish would have happened a little more organically.

Why do I feel like she just let the devil in? Has she never watched Children of the Corn?
