Status Updates From The Uncanny X-Men Omnibus, ...

Omfg I get that this is the foundation of the xmen comics and that I really should read it but fucking hell it’s arbitrary. CONSTANT recapping of the issue I JUST read every fucking five seconds, SO MANY WORDS on every page, the art is of the time and so I can accept that, I suppose the the wordiness is okay too. BUT FUCK it’s a slog.

The art in this is fantastic and the story, while still good, has never quite wowed me yet. I will say though, whenever I put this book down, I always immediately feel the urge to get back to reading it, so I think that means it's good!

Volume two seems to be where all the fan-favorite stuff happens, so I've got no plans to stop now!
