Status Updates From Bad Thoughts

I've only read 'The Intruder' so far, but it flew by me (despite being less than 20 pages) I can say I love Alic's writing style and how well it flows together, despite the narrator's somewhat questionable pattern of thinking!

“Gossip is collateral, deepening our loyalty and reinforcing our inherent superiority over everyone else. Once mutual trust was established, it only escalated. We judge everything from holidays to governments to abstract concepts. Time? An illusion. Those impossible little slits in condiment packages? Poor design. The “You’ve Unsubscribed” email? A cry for help.”
