I’m usually not a huge fan of self help books and u am also not necessarily a fan of this book, but opening up to the idea of alleviating toxic shame to get to my true self turned out to be helpful this summer. I am trying to understand myself and my partner, who gave me this book, in hopes we can see beyond our wounds to truly love each other without holding grudges and - shame.
