Status Updates From Mortal Skin (Folk, #1)

Okay… I do like this book, but I’m not clicking with some of the writing as much as I had with Mayne’s monsterous series. It’s good tho- I am liking Lonan and Ash’s relationship and it’s cute, just not feeling the build of the plot per se… something’s gotta give.

Okay! My first ever Romantasy book, and I actually like it!

So this is my first Romantasy, Fae type of book so I am treading new waters with this. So far not bad don't understand too much right now but it's too early but I am slowly getting a foundation for the characters.

It’s cute… I was SO NOT clicking with this story up until about the 70 page mark. It was like dragging and dragging and didn’t feel organic, but now that we’re in this world and know these characters it is CLOCKING!!! My hopes are rising… steadily. 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼
