“I didn’t marry a woman,” Razgar barked just as the door started to slide shut. “Apparently, I married a damn warlord.”

Really not a fan of the covers, but… this one is more interesting thus far than the other books in the series.

Welp, this one I didn't like as much. 2.5 stars for me

This is dark for sure. We're just beginning, and I'm already clenching my jaw just by reading what this warlord had to live as a child

Saying that I'm fucking scared of reading this one it's an understatement. I really dislike Razgar based on all previous books. The only good thing he has is his love for his bird. There were hints here and there that he must have some kind of horrible past, but he wasn't being any better. I'm going to pray for character growth on this one 🙏🏽
