Hmmm I don’t like that the H was sleeping with another woman when they were apart. We don’t see the scene but we hear it mentioned twice. Otherwise the second half has been really good. I just think there were too many plots. Probably a 3.5 but rounded to 4.

This book could be like 2 stories. It has a lot of things going on plot wise.

There’s a lot in this book. A lot to read and take in. After the kind of slow first part, it’s pretty good. I’m not sure if I’ll read the next boom right away. I don’t think it’s related.

It’s definitely picked up and flowing much better within scenes. Her secret is out. He knows but hasn’t told her yet. His friend knows and she’s been confronted. I still don’t like the premise of taking advantage of a dying (completely evil jerk) man by making him believe she’s someone dear to him. Just seems a line not to cross for a h flaw that’s just not cool. But I’m enjoying the H and h now

Nothing is wrong with the writing or story. Just seems either really done well or too much info and I can’t decide which. I’m glad I’m reading it and I love to read smaller authors. Just something with the flow - but I read really quick reading books right before so this just feels like I’m reading it soooo slow

Not sure how I feel about the h pretending to be a (jerk’s) dead wife. Seems kind of sketchy. But will read on! Tomorrow …

Kinda slow to develop the story but not bad for a smaller author. I’ll hang in there but I think it’s about o pick up with a Road trip. I’m not sure if this book is clean. It may be clean. Which is fine. I read all but just a heads up to those of you reading my updates.

Easy to read a lot this weekend because I was procrastinating doing other things! Wheee!

This book is book 1 but I remember enjoying the short .5 that’s as in the holiday anthology last year.
