So the backstory of the female yokai is revealed in the chapter: 'To a Kinder World'. However, am I supposed to believe a mother would just kill herself after her own daughter was kidnapped by the bad guys!? I mean, in missing person cases, parents would try their hardest to search for their missing children, some of them till their last breath. So what the author wrote in this story doesn't make sense at all.

It makes no sense to me, your daughter got kidnapped by bad guys and your reaction is to kill yourself?

You don't care about your poor daughter's fate anymore?
