Yay!

We're all done, and we can now approve the audiobook.

The amount of time it takes Jordy to remember that Violet exists in this world, somewhere, and has mysteriously been missing for 8 months:

Also Aunt Daphne: *is probably only forty-five or so*

I keep forgetting how young my characters are and then doing math and being like, "Well. Um. It's a different era ..."

Last chapter! If this needs no corrections, we are going on #5 in a row of "I don't have anything to add, so let's just PUBLISH IT! YAY!" because my narrator is a queen.

<spoiler>Okay, but do you ever think that like this is the first moment Ivy has ever been faced with something that, were it to happen, she cannot forgive, and it's literally just broken her ability to reason correctly? Like, this goes against the very nature of everything Ivy has ever established in her life -- that she has a line, and it can be crossed, and THEN WHAT?!</spoiler>

I am now getting creeped out by how calm Violet is about this, which is perfect, but GAH.

Girl, just stop.

Peter sounds so serious.

I'm becoming unnerved by how serious he sounds.

I kinda wish Alexandra Ralph weren't so darned talented, because she has totally captured the vibe, and it is giving me shivers.

Ivy: Jordy used to be so brave.

Alice: Ivy, you're literally the only one who has ever done anything brave in this entire family.

Ivy: That's rather a generalization.

Alice: Ivy, NONE OF US WILL TALK ABOUT ANYTHING. EVER. FOR ANY REASON.

Ivy: Peter is so wise and good and great!!!
Alice: You must be talking about a different Peter.

I've read (and launched) this too recently to feel like I can actively enjoy it, but I refuse to not proofread the audiobook just because I haven't had time to fall in love with this again. xD

Every time I read this bit, I get a little choked up, so yeah, I do get emotional about weird parts. Why do you ask?
