Almost done this one. Nearly lost it when the two men met each other on the train unexpectedly and the line was "they ejaculated..." Because I'm 12.

While I'm not sure this one will land as well for me given the heavy Christianity and Familial Duty themes, it's a gentle little story thus far, and might be just the thing for a queer retelling...
